Google API Services and YouTube User DataAppora allows users to connect their Google and YouTube accounts through Google OAuth in order to use YouTube-related features within the Appora platform.When a user connects a Google or YouTube account, Appora may access certain Google user data only after the user has explicitly granted permission through Google’s OAuth consent process. Depending on the permissions granted, this may include YouTube account or channel information and authorization credentials required to provide the requested YouTube functionality.Appora uses the YouTube read-only permission to identify and display the YouTube account or channel connected by the user. Appora uses the YouTube upload permission to upload and publish videos to the user’s YouTube channel only when the user explicitly chooses to publish or schedule content through Appora.Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google User DataTo provide YouTube account connection and publishing functionality, Appora uses Outstand as a service provider for social media integrations. Appora may share or transfer the minimum Google user data necessary, including OAuth authorization tokens, connected account information, and publishing requests, to Outstand solely for the purpose of connecting the user’s YouTube account and carrying out publishing actions requested by the user.Outstand processes this information on Appora’s behalf only as necessary to provide the social media integration and publishing services. Appora does not authorize Outstand to use Google user data for its own advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or other unrelated purposes.Appora does not sell, rent, or trade Google user data. Appora does not share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.Google user data may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, legal process, or a valid request from a competent governmental authority.Data Retention and DeletionAppora retains Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide the requested integration and services, or as required by applicable law.Users may disconnect their Google or YouTube account from Appora at any time. Users may also revoke Appora’s access through their Google Account permissions. When access is revoked or the connection is removed, Appora will no longer use the authorization to access the user’s Google or YouTube account.Users may request deletion of their personal data associated with Appora by contacting ceo@appora.au.Google API Services User Data PolicyAppora’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
